Houston Senior Portraits

Breanna’s portrait session is one of my favorites to date. Often times, I’m approached by a client that has a preconceived idea or shot list. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I’m ecstatic when provided the opportunity to shoot without the limitations of a shot list or instruction. In this instance, Breanna mentioned that she desired Bohemian inspired portraits. I knew immediately that this would be a non-traditional senior portrait session. I was challenged in finding a suitable location within the city of Houston, but together we decided that a nearby arboretum would suffice. Her choice of outfit worked perfectly with the environment and she was a natural in front of the camera. Even though we had less than an hour to shoot before dark, the images came out wonderfully. I’m thrilled with the final product and love that the images are far from your traditional senior portraits. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Breanna again and look forward to more opportunities to shoot non-traditional senior portraits.
